Project information:

This project involves the construction of a new telecommunications site by the Government of Nova Scotia. This location is currently in the planning phases, and building new infrastructure typically takes about nine to 12 months. The anticipated completion date is noted above.

The construction timeline differs from the timeline for connecting this site to a telecommunications provider's network. The connection timeline and predicted coverage area may be established after the Cellular for Nova Scotia Program’s second Request for Proposals—Innovative Solutions for Cellular Coverage Improvement—Phase 2 is awarded. This RFP closed on December 5, 2024, and proposal evaluations are underway.
